About
Abdulrahman M. Yaqyn — software and systems. Based in 6th of October City, Egypt, with an accounting background and projects across business operations, AI applications, and Linux.
A business background, a systems approach
An accounting background shapes my attention to records, responsibilities, and handoffs. The starting point is understanding the work, then shaping the data and interfaces around it.
Career Projects — HyperQuote
HyperQuote is a building-materials procurement platform. It connects customers, sales, internal operations, management, dispatch, and drivers, from a material request to its delivery.
The work includes orders, inventory, suppliers, warehousing, fleet, finance, and customer-service workflows; natural-language ordering and a RAG-based company-information assistant; and customer, operations, and driver experiences around shared data.
Personal Projects — qvOS
qvOS is my ongoing Arch Linux distribution project. It began with Omarchy and continues to evolve around development, productivity, automation, and AI agent workflows. The work spans a keyboard-first Hyprland desktop, native system tools, installation, updates, and recovery.
Learning Journey Projects — Boot.dev
These Go and Python projects began in the Boot.dev curriculum and grew through independent extensions. They cover APIs, containerized services, retrieval, asynchronous crawling, and developer tools. Each repository documents behavior and limitations alongside the code.
